The special risk department provides insurance products and services to our clients in the following areas: Group Accident Insurance, Major Medical Insurance, Kidnap and Ransom, Critical Illness, Professional Sports and Individual Life and Long Term Disability insurance, and Group Annuities.We have access to specialized markets in Canada, United States and Europe with sufficient capacity to underwrite all of the above risks. In your capacity as Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to Health Strategies consultants in the servicing of special risk clients and prospects. This includes:
- Preparing quarterly experience reviews and renewal underwriting analyses;
- Preparing specifications for seeking quotations;
- Analyzing quotations;
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of group systems, products and technology, and having a thorough understanding of how these relate to group insurance consulting;
- Participating in functional team activities which support the operations of the Health Strategies practice.
