POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Maintain files in accordance with corporate guidelines, including detailed and descriptive file notes which accurately reflect the activities on file
  

• Prepare detailed file synopsis and large loss reports
  

• Coordinate thorough and timely investigations
  

• Retain & manage service providers as required
  

• Initiate prompt and early contact with our customers
  

• Maintain a current diary system at all times
  

• Attend mediations/arbitrations/settlement conferences/etc as required
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong negotiation skills

• Minimum of three years adjusting experience handling automobile losses
  

• Previous experience setline BI and AB claims
  

• Strong investigative and analytical skills
  

• Highly organized, detail oriented
  

• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word
  

• Minimum 40 wpm typing skills
  

• University degree and/or equivalent post-secondary education or experience
  

• Actively pursuing CIP designation
