POSITION DESCRIPTION |

Handle complex D&O, E&O and
Fidelity Line Claims
-
Prepare timely coverage
assessments and prepare reservation/denial letters
-
Review and implement reserves
-
Monitor external counsel and
ensuring litigation guidelines are complied with
-
Respond to calls from brokers
and insureds regarding claims files
-
Attend settlement meetings and
mediations
-
Stay abreast of legal
developments which effect the insurance industry in general
as well as those which are specific to financial lines
claims
-
Conform to company procedures

REQUIREMENTS |
-
Minimum 7-10 years experience
handling Director & Officers, E&O and Fidelity Lines or
legal degree/experience
-
Work independently with minimal
supervision
-
Excellent oral and written
communication skills

Excellent organizational and
interpersonal skills
-
Ability to multi-task and work
effectively in a fast paced team environment

Ability to manage work load
effectively, especially during times of high activity
-
Confident knowledge of systems
and PC applications (Windows, MSWord, and Excel)
