POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Meeting established sales and service targets through selling various insurance products to both existing and new clients.

• Contacting and negotiating with underwriters the best possible terms & conditions with respect to premiums and coverage, preparing marketing proposals for renewals and new business by analyzing risk exposure; issuing documentation and supporting the servicing of accounts.

• Participating in or coordinating initiatives that promotes and generates new business opportunities.

• Maintaining quality controls as per standardized procedures.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years commercial lines experience

• strong technical insurance knowledge in placement of all classes of insurance

• RIBO License and other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.

• team player with strong work ethic

• excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

• strong attention to detail

• proficient knowledge in MS Office products such as word experience with The Agency Manager an asset
