To market to prospective clients and obtain details required to provide proposals.

Upon receipt of details, to provide comprehensive proposals to clients in accordance with established procedures for writing good quality business.

To followup completed proposals on a timely basis in order to attempt to obtain sale.

To log inbound contact details from prospective clients, as well as outbound marketing efforts, quotation details, sales made, and other sales activities.

To review existing commercial house accounts assigned to you and contact client and followup as needed to ensure adequate insurance protection is in place

To cross sell, upsell, and obtain referrals for more business

Achieve goals and objectives established for your position through marketing activities and by using professional customer focussed sales techniques

Obtain all relevant details from clients and develop appropriate insurance policy to meet the client’s needs

Meet with Sales Report to advise of status of sales activities as per agreed upon schedule. Provide monthly quote and sales to Sales Report weekly.

Log a complete conversation notation for every conversation with or with respect to brokerage clients and follow up appropriately

Help brokerage achieve good loss ratios with companies by co-operating with co-workers and underwriters to maintain good quality book of business

Assist in maintaining a positive and professional office atmosphere

Provide clients with level of service consistent with brokerage standards

Perform such other duties as may be from time to time assigned
