POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Negotiate policy terms and conditions and underwrite and service all lines of EIL coverage in accordance with company guidelines

• Make independent and joint marketing sales calls to promote EIL coverage through broker relationships

• Establish and maintain new and existing relationships to facilitate the marketing of EIL products through broker relationships

• Implement appropriate marketing plans to ensure department financials objectives are met

• Assist in the long-term strategic planning of the EIL department, while working with other departments to leverage multi-line opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good understanding of environmental law in addition to principles of environmental risk management and controls

• Knowledge of EIL insurance products and market capabilities. Candidate should be familiar with coverage issues, product lines, marketing, and market competition

• Ability to interact with internal and external vendors as evidenced by prior sales and marketing related activities with progressively increased responsibilities

• Effective negotiation, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with demonstrated record of progressively handling increased responsibilities

• Excellent computer skills required, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel

• University degree preferred
